Financial inclusion for girls
FLM
For the third year, Laia Foundation has opened savings accounts to fourteen bright students. This program benefits only girls because they tend to suffer discrimination and aims to encourage saving and career planning. This initiative also provides awareness to the girls' families in order to delay their age of marriage. All the girls belong to families under the poverty line and twelve of them to Adidravidar or Dalit castes.
