Judit and Carles are volunteering with Laia Foundation, focused on creating a small herbal garden and get solutions locally to help fight child malnutrition. In this sense, they contacted the Gandhi Ashram in Salem (Tamil Nadu) that produce some natural vitamin supplements which are affordable for very low income families. Also, experts of this organization are willing to come to the Laia Foundation's project to give awareness to mothers on topics such as nutrition and the use of medicinal plants.

Judit and Carles have also planted fruit trees, such as lime, guava and coconut and prepared, along with a third volunteer, Estitxu, posters to educate our students in subjects such as hygiene, water and the use of latrines.
