2014 has been a very positive year for Laia Foundation as the number of people benefiting directly from our projects continues to increase and we consolidate our pool of members and volunteers.
The highlights of 2014 are:

Laia Foundation provides access to quality education to 1,000 children at risk of exclusion , after extending our target area to Vandavasi, Tamil Nadu.

Gea XXI ’s Microfinance Fund, managed by Laia Foundation, benefits 1,375 people (300 women and their families).

Thanks to Technoeducat initiative, Laia Foundation strengthens its educational project through the introduction of ICT tools.

In May Laia Foundation’s good work is recognised and receives an award at Tamil Nadu Foundation’s Conference in Chicago, United States.

The book Vanakkam. A Diary of an Unforgettable Stay in Vedanthangal reaches its 5th edition, having sold a total of 490 copies.

Last summer, Laia Foundation successfully held its third work camp.

Awareness sessions are held at Escola Thau Sant Cugat, Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol (Badalona) and PCT Granollers and Calella, and supported by writer Sergi Torres.
