Laia Foundation has been promoting in the last months the use of IT resources as part of our educational project which helps our students in the areas of English, Maths, and their own language, Tamil.

Laia Foundation is piloting a project at Vedanthangal and Chithaikkodam centres where children use the computers and tablets every day for a few hours. The use of technology has allowed students access a wide range of educational resources that make the learning process very exciting.

AID-India has donated four computers, and Cecília Castellà raised funds last year towards four tablet computers. This year Girnet Internacional has also made a donation that has allowed us to buy additional IT tools.

Cecília was the one who started the teachers’ training and helped the introduction of IT tools in our project in 2015.
