Laia Foundation took part once more in Badalona’s Festa del Badiu on 7th May, as part of their popular May festivities.
The main attraction of our stall is Mehendi, a type of body decoration originating in ancient India. The designs are painted on the body by using a paste made from dry leaf powder from the henna plant. Despite its ancient origin, Mehendi continues to be a popular form of body art amongst women in the Indian subcontinent.
